RAM event CANCELLED (Sat. 2 May, 2009 2:00 am - 2:00 pm)

The Remote Medical event at the County Fairgrounds this weekendhas been cancelled.  WKYC reported this morning that the OhioHealth Dept recommended it because of the swine flu and thelikelihood that people who attend will have compromised immunesystems.  No reschedule date yet.

The Democrats for a Stronger America invite you to hear Johnathon S. Ross., M.D., M.P.H., discuss the latest development in the national dialogue on guaranteed health care for all Americans.
Dr. Ross is a past president of Physicians for a National Health Program, Associate Chairman of Internal Medicine and Medical Director of the Outpatient Internal Medicine Clinic at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Please note the change of location for tonight's Cleveland SPAN meeting at 7:00 pm:
Phoenix Coffee House, 2287 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 - 

Exiting the Cleveland Heights Library (our usual meeting location) onto Lee Road, the Phoenix is less than a mile away in the direction of Cedar.  Parking is available behind the building.
Tonight's agenda will include a review of the forum with Dr. Roth, an update from SPAN's annual meeting on April 25th and annual elections of the Cleveland Chapter officers.

Cleveland and more than 30 other cities across the country will participate in a National Day of Action for Single-Payer Healthcare called for by Healthcare-NOW!Cleveland area health care activists are organizing a public event where we will have healthcare billboards and pass out information. We urge you to join us.
We will meet at 8:45 a.m. at the Shaker Square Cinema. (Join us there, or look for us at the Farmers' Market if you arrive after 9:00 a.m.If you have any questions, either ahead of time or to find us at the event, call (330) 957-6167.
